Danny Dyer TV show sparks a four year high in holiday park searches

Online searches for UK holiday parks have reached a four-year high following the debut of The Dyers’ Caravan Park, a new Sky series fronted by Danny Dyer.

Google Trends data shows searches for the term “holiday parks” during the first two months of 2026 have risen to their highest level since 2022. Separate figures from property adviser Savills indicate that deal volumes within the caravan and holiday park sector doubled year on year in 2025. Operators say the data reflects continued staycation demand.

“If you’ve watched Danny Dyer’s Holiday Park, you’ll have seen how much character and charm our sector has, especially in family-owned sites where the focus is on the guest and long-term sustainability rather than quick short-term profits for shareholders,” commented Kevin Darvill, sales and marketing director at Woolacombe Bay Holiday Parks. “Demand is strong and growing, forward bookings for 2026 are currently 16 percent ahead, and guests are looking for high-quality, flexible breaks without all the faff.”
