Boomerang Director of Sales, Freddie Shreeve expands on the brand’s ‘one stop shop’ credentials, as well as the multi-sector success stories which have seen it record notable business wins and, in the process, continue to grow market share.
Coinslot: Looking ahead to the two days in Manchester, can you give us an idea of what visitors will be seeing on your stand at the second edition of the ARE Expo?
Freddie Shreeve: ARE is our second show of the year and follows what was probably our best ever EAG, so we’re really looking forward to getting back out in Manchester and building on that momentum.
It’s a big opportunity for us to show how far the Boomerang offer has come, particularly around our one stop shop solution for gaming and entertainment operators. Visitors to the stand will see our full ecosystem working together. That includes Jigsaw, our PayStation range, Click, Engage and Play Stations, all integrated to give operators a joined-up solution rather than standalone products.
Click is a big part of that story. It’s our fastest growing product and is a machine data management solution built specifically for AGCs, bingo and FECs. It’s already proven in the field and being adopted quickly by operators who want better visibility and control of their estate. We’ll also be showcasing our facial recognition solution, Face Watch, which links directly into the Smart Hub self-exclusion database.
It’s a practical step forward in supporting safer gambling while keeping things seamless for operators. Tik-Ex will also be on display following its rollout across Mecca Bingo venues nationwide, and we’ll be running live demos across the stand so people can see everything working in a live environment.
Coinslot: What are the ‘must haves’ on offer and why are they the stand outs?
Freddie Shreeve: Our PayStation range is a real standout. It’s already one of the most complete solutions on the market, but now with full integration into our mobile app and membership system, it offers more than anything else out there.
A big addition is the introduction of fun, quick and easy promotional games directly at the PayStation. Customers can now earn rewards and win prizes before they even sit down to play. It keeps the player engaged from the moment they arrive and makes sure they feel looked after straight away. Jigsaw continues to be a key product for us. It’s proven, flexible and consistently delivers strong results across different venue types.
Click is also right up there. As our fastest growing product, it gives operators a clear view of machine performance across AGCs, bingo and FECs, helping them make better decisions and manage their venues more effectively. It’s proven and recommended by trusted industry partners. Face Watch is another major focus. The ability to connect directly to the Smart Hub database and support real time self exclusion checks gives operators a scalable and responsible solution in an area that’s only becoming more important.
Tik-Ex is also gaining real momentum. It’s simple, effective and now proven at scale following the Mecca rollout, giving operators an easy way to drive engagement and promotions without adding complexity.
Coinslot: Do you have any new launches, deals or partnerships previewing at ARE 2026?
Freddie Shreeve: One of the key highlights for us at ARE will be announcing a new rollout of Jigsaw with Game Nation. Following a successful trial, the decision has been made to move forward with installations across a minimum of 15 venues over the coming months.
We’ll be working closely with the Game Nation team on both installation and staff training to ensure everything is delivered properly from day one, and we’re looking forward to marking that on the stand. It’s a great example of how operators are seeing the value in Jigsaw not just as a product, but as part of a wider solution.
We’ll also be showing the latest update to Bingo Express Extra, including a completely new user interface designed to improve the customer journey and make buying bingo tickets as simple as possible, whether that’s via paper or tablets.
ARE is where we bring all of this together, and it’s a good opportunity for us to sit down with operators, partners and the wider industry to talk about what’s next.
