Mark Jepp is a CEO on a mission and that’s to deliver the buzz and energy commonly found in bingo clubs to AGCs. Customer engagement consultant Melody Munday, who has previously worked with Mecca, Grosvenor and Away Resorts, is applying her expertise in bringing energy, creativity, dynamism and fun to the low-stake high street gaming experience.

Game Nation CEO Mark Jepp is delivering on his pledge to put ‘fun and energy’ at the very top of the high street gaming experience with the hire of customer engagement consultant Melody Munday.

Melody, an experienced marketer, has worked on leading brands including Mecca Bingo, Grosvenor and Away Resorts delivering compelling entertainment propositions and curating memorable in-venue experiences.

Expanding on his vision for Game Nation’s brand of high street gaming Mark Jepp explained: “At its most simple, our core aim is for Game Nation customers to leave our venues with a smile on their face having enjoyed the time that they’ve spent in our company and being looked after by our hospitality-trained team members.

“We are working hard to ensure that our venues are happy, engaging and exciting environments by drawing heavily on the community vibe that underpins the bingo experience.”

He added: “Melody brings energy, creativity, and a different way of thinking. A key part of her skill-set is an ability to train and coach teams on confidence and customer interaction. She’s passionate about how seemingly small touches can completely change how a customer feels in a venue. Her background blends gaming and commercial experience with entertainment, performance, and practical multi-site operational delivery.”

Outlining her experience and approach to customer engagement Melody Munday stated “I have worked across gaming, entertainment, marketing and venue-led activation, with a focus on creating experiences that bring energy and fun into venues.

“A lot of my work has been about taking an idea, a product or a campaign and turning it into something that feels exciting, engaging and that’s commercially valuable.

“Game Nation is an entertainment brand: this means that everything needs to be viewed through the lens of the consumer and how the experience they are paying for makes them feel. Quite simply, if it’s a positive experience they will stay for longer and they will keep on returning.”

Now that’s what I call entertainment
