Moto Hospitality rolls out RBW Systems’ Guardian Compliance solution across national estate

It’s an operational first for the motorway services sector as Moto launches a nationwide roll-out of RBW’s Guardian compliance platform. The estate-wide launch makes Moto the first motorway operator to implement the widely acclaimed Guardian Compliance system, ahead of a wider market launch at EAG 2026.

Moto has entered into a new agreement with RBW Systems to adopt Guardian Compliance across its nationwide network of motorway service sites. The rollout is now complete across all 55 Moto locations, making Moto the first motorway operator in the UK to implement the platform. Moto is also the first of two national operators that have made the move across to Guardian Compliance ahead of its wider market launch at EAG 2026.

The agreement follows a successful three month trial in which Moto tested Guardian Compliance across its venues. The trial confirmed the system’s reliability and ease of use, and reinforced the importance of having a modern compliance solution that can adapt to changing regulatory expectations. The move also aligns with RBW Systems’ broader product roadmap as the company prepares to introduce Guardian Compliance to the wider market at EAG 2026.

It’s a timely move for Moto with the adoption of Guardian Compliance coinciding with increasing regulatory scrutiny. Operators face rising expectations around anti money laundering controls, safer gambling engagement, record keeping, and overall accountability. Guardian Compliance is RBW’s response to these challenges, offering a technology led approach that supports confident and consistent compliance. RBW is offering a fit for purpose, future proof compliance solution to the market.

Guardian Compliance includes integrated anti money laundering and safer gambling alerts, semi automated quarterly returns submission tools, and a complete record management workflow that removes the need for manual spreadsheets. The system also provides intuitive forms and workflows designed to reduce administration and help staff act quickly and accurately. These features translate into practical value for operators by reducing the time spent on compliance tasks, whilst giving management and regulators clearer oversight.

Rob Wheeler, Managing Director at RBW Systems, said: “This agreement with Moto demonstrates the strength of Guardian Compliance as the industry’s next generation integrated compliance platform. We are proud to deliver a system built from the ground up to meet today’s regulatory challenges and support operators for the future. Momentum is building as we move toward the formal market launch at EAG 2026.”

Shakila Neill, Gaming Manager at Moto, said: “Implementing Guardian Compliance marks a significant step forward in strengthening player protection and regulatory excellence at Moto. The platform has transformed how we manage compliance – providing powerful, data-driven insight into our customers and business. It enables faster, smarter decision-making, helping us protect vulnerable players and money laundering risks while keeping our operations agile and future focused.”

Moto’s rollout marks the first national scale deployment of Guardian Compliance and highlights RBW Systems’ position as a leader in land based gaming systems. The agreement validates the system’s capability and adds further momentum ahead of the wider market launch next year.

Guardian Compliance builds on the long established foundations of the Guardian product suite. More than 350 sites already use the Guardian system, having processed over one billion pounds in TITO transactions securely.
