Paul Williams completes the 44 mile Pier to Pier walk in aid of St David’s Hospice

Llandudno Pier manager Paul Williams has completed a 44 mile walk along the north Wales coast in aid of St David’s Hospice, part of a series of activities intended to raise £4,000 for the palliative care charity.

Williams undertook the walk from Lanndudno to Bangor Pier and back alongside Dean Seager, with the pair also committing to Dry February and March, before a 400 mile bike ride next month.

“Myself and Dean have been raising money for St Davids Hospice for the past few years,” Williams told the Pioneer. “It’s a charity close to our hearts and I think for the town as a whole.”

“It’s an amazing facility and the care that they give is extraordinary.”

Previous efforts have seen Williams and Seager raise thousands of pounds for St David’s, with the last initiative delivering £3,500.

The pair are currently “a way off” from achieving their current target, and donations can be made via the St David’s Hospice profile on Enthuse.
