Reflex MD Quentin Stott to run half marathon for Meningitis Research

Quentin Stott is to run the London Landmarks Half Marathon next month, raising money for Spencer Dayman Meningitis Research in memory of his son Dylan.

The Reflex Gaming MD hopes to raise £2,500 by completing the course through the capital on 12 April, with donations already close to exceeding £1,000.

“Since losing our son Dylan to meningococcal septicaemia aged just 21 months in 2005, my family and I have been involved in raising funds to support medical research into the eradication of all forms of meningitis and sepsis,” said Stott.

“I honestly feel that I’ve bitten off more than I can chew and am not relishing the training again, but if you are able to sponsor me, it will make it all the more worthwhile, whilst most importantly helping future generations avoid the devastating consequences of this terrible disease.”

Donations can be made by searching Running for Dylan on the JustGiving platform.
