Progressive high street brand Game Nation has appointed industry veteran Narinder ‘Nindi’ Dhanjal as its new Compliance Manager signalling the importance it places on safer gambling across its 43-venue estate. Dhanjal brings four decades of experience, including senior retail compliance leadership roles at Paddy Power and William Hill.
Game Nation has underscored its commitment to the delivery of compliant, progressive and socially responsible high street gaming with the appointment of Narinder ‘Nindi’ Dhanjal to the post of Compliance Manager. Drawing on a 40-year career spent working in the betting industry Nindi takes on a remit that spans regulatory compliance, safer gambling, licensing and complaint handling across the Game Nation estate of 43 Adult Gaming Centres.
Starting on the shop floor at William Hill, Nindi went on to spend over a decade at Paddy Power where he progressed through the ranks to become Head of Retail Compliance and Safer Gambling for UK and Ireland. As a Personal Management Licence holder, he led the retail business through a Gambling Commission assessment with no enforcement action, rolled out a staged affordability trial across a quarter of the UK estate, and drove up customer interaction rates all whilst chairing a working group with a lived-experience panel in order to keep safer gambling policy grounded and authentic.
He returned to William Hill in 2023 as Head of Licensing and Development, leading the national site acquisition and licensing agenda across the UK and Jersey establishing a strategic pipeline of 125 potential new sites and the introduction of a licence audit process for field teams.
