MERKUR Slots has been celebrated in the 2026 Manchester City Centre BID Mystery Shopping Awards, earning maximum marks for customer service and joining leading high-street brands in recognition of its commitment to delivering an outstanding visitor experience.
The MERKUR Slots venue in Deansgate, Manchester has joined famous household brands including Apple, BOSS, Jo Malone, Metro Bank, Virgin Money and PureGym as ‘Best of the Best’ winners in the Manchester City Centre BID Mystery Shopping Awards for 2026.
MERKUR registered maximum marks in Home and Lifestyle a category which included Build-A-Bear, Clarendon Fine Art, Ecig and Whittard.
The Mystery Shopping Awards form part of Manchester City Centre Business Improvement District’s (BID) annual customer-service benchmarking programme.
The programme exists to celebrate excellent customer service among businesses that contribute to Manchester city centre’s success, showcasing what the city has to offer and helping residents and visitors to enjoy and explore the city. It supports the BID’s broader aim of attracting and welcoming visitors while improving the overall trading environment.
