Boomerang Digital deliver new wave of entertainment following cruise ship agreement with Paf Group

Jigsaw’s popularity continues to grow with Boomerang Digital concluding a major three-year agreement with Paf Group to install Jigsaw Bingo across 13 cruise ships operating in the Baltic Sea. The collaboration has resulted in the development of bespoke player-centric solutions both for the maritime environment and across multiple legal jurisdictions.

Boomerang Digital continues to demonstrate its customer-centric commitment to develop bespoke entertainment solutions following the announcement of a major three-year agreement with Paf Group to deploy Jigsaw Bingo across 13 cruise ships operating in the Baltic Sea.

The agreement, which follows more than a year of collaboration between the two organisations, includes the supply of 15 Jigsaw laptop systems, ticket printers, wireless buzzers and walkabout tablets, alongside ongoing software support, content updates and licensing.

Expanding on the evolution of the partnership, Director of Sales Freddie Shreeve said: “Working closely with Jonathan Carlsson and the Paf team, we have developed bingo functionality specifically for the maritime environment, including new player and operator features. One of the most exciting developments is a linked progressive jackpot solution which will connect participating vessels across the Finnish fleet, in the process creating a unique shared player experience.”

Describing the agreement with Paf as constituting ‘one of the largest international Jigsaw deployments completed to date’ Freddie Shreeve added: “Whilst the agreement itself is a major milestone, the real story is the progressive partnership that has been built between both businesses and how we have collaborated to create something powerful and unique to Paf’s customers. Bradley Royce has managed the account, co-ordinating development activity and overseeing delivery of the project through its various phases.

“The first installations have now been completed aboard Baltic Queen and Victoria I, with the remaining vessels to follow as part of a phased rollout plan. Our focus is on completing the wider rollout, launching the progressive jackpot and continuing to develop new features and opportunities together as the relationship builds and grows.”

Jonathan Carlsson who serves as Product Manager at Paf added: “It has been a genuine pleasure working with Bradley and the rest of the Boomerang-team to develop a specialised version of Jigsaw. It has been the perfect case study in collaboration which has resulted in the delivery of bespoke solutions both for the maritime environment and the various legal jurisdictions that we operate across.  The Boomerang team has shared our vision and been just as excited about delivering the project as we have been.”

He added: “We are starting with the core Jigsaw bingo product across 13 vessels, but following a recent acquisition our fleet now spans 80 ships across northern Europe, so this is just the beginning. We expect both additional terminals and, over time, a broader gaming and entertainment platform to emerge from what has been a dynamic and rewarding collaboration.”
