Clacton Pier is offering half-price attraction wristbands to Blue Light Card holders as part of its first dedicated weekend for eligible workers.
On 12 and 13 September, card holders can bring up to three guests, with Big Day Out Bands priced at £15 instead of the usual £30.
The offer covers eligible active and retired NHS and emergency service workers, social care workers, teachers and members of the armed forces.
“There are so many dedicated professionals working hard to look after the rest of the community day in, day out across the year,” commented general manager Harry Peek. “It seems they are now working harder, and longer hours than ever before. We want them to be able to come down to the pier with family or friends and make the most of all the attractions we have on offer and to be able to enjoy some quality time off with us at a heavily discounted price.”
The promotion forms part of the pier’s autumn events programme.
