Providing smart tech solutions to help operators meet strategic objectives sits at the heart of the progressive relationship enjoyed by Boomerang Digital and the AGC operator Game Nation. CEO Mark Jepp is deploying a Game Nation branded version of the Jigsaw digital promotions platform to add more fun and energy to the high street gaming experience.
Jigsaw, Boomerang’s acclaimed digital promotions platform continues to win admirers, with the company undertaking a 16-venue installation programme across the Game Nation estate of AGCs.
The programme, which commenced at Game Nation’s flagship Gerrard Street venue in London’s China Town, will take the number of Game Nation Live branded Jigsaw platforms to 21.
Expanding on what he described as a ‘key strategic investment in the player experience’ Game Nation CEO Mark Jepp said: “I think I was the first to have Jigsaw in my bingo days and wanted to explore how the platform could support and accelerate our vision to bring more of the energy, fun and player engagement that’s typical of bingo to the AGC sector.
“Our overarching strategy is to bring more fun and entertainment outside the core slot offer: quite simply, customers want to have the chance to win more and have a laugh at the same time.”
He continued: “We have changed the name internally to Game Nation Live so that we can create a distinct, integrated brand and use the platform to deliver games and experiences that are tailored to our customers. We’ve seen that it’s a super flexible and powerful engagement tool founded on Boomerang’s extensive experience working with operators and understanding consumers in multiple sectors including bingo, holiday parks and AGCs.”
Boomerang’s Director of Sales Freddie Shreeve, who has been working alongside the Game Nation team throughout the trial and evaluation process noted: “The install programme is progressing extremely well. Branded content is currently being designed ahead of official launch, with training and support continuing to ensure everything is in place to ensure a smooth customer experience.
“We have drawn on our experience and expertise to help guide the rollout and the reaction from the Game Nation team has been fantastic. Melody Munday is Game Nation’s Jigsaw Champion and she has completed extensive training with our product expert, Bradley Royce. Melody has provided crucial feedback which has helped shape and tailor the product to create a bespoke Game Nation branded offering. We have also been working together on future development to ensure the Game Nation identity and customer experience remains at the heart of the rollout.”
Expanding on Boomerang’s commitment to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with operators, he added: “Training starts with making sure the configuration and setup is correct for each individual venue. A key focus is customer engagement and features such as the wireless buzzer games give staff an easy and natural way to interact with customers, introduce themselves and encourage participation through fun, simple promotional games. We also work closely with venues on scheduling content, whether that’s music, adverts, bingo sessions or interactive games, ensuring the system becomes part of the overall customer experience.
“Promotions are also an important part of the training. When managed correctly, they can create a much stronger atmosphere within venue. Jigsaw is now integrated into the wider ‘one stop shop’ ecosystem within AGCs, allowing operators to manage multiple areas of the customer experience through a single trusted platform which is backed by reliable hardware, dedicated account management and industry-leading support through direct WhatsApp groups and live operational support.”
Boomerang is supplying over 1,200 systems across sectors including AGCs, bingo clubs, casinos, pubs and social clubs, holiday parks, and cruise ships. The Jigsaw platform is installed in over 250 venues nationwide and present in 20 percent of UK AGCs.
